Claywell Jestice was born on May 11, 1934 to the late George Washington Jestice and Sadie Lee Tomlin Jestice in Cloverport, TN.

His funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Dixie Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Clover Chapel Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Mr. Claywell worked at Anderson Fruit Farm, Cloverport, TN,; he did odd jobs for Family and Friends.

He spent his past time writing songs, he wrote over 100 songs and dreamed of one day hearing his songs on the radio.

Mr. Claywell loved being around Family and Friends taking pictures and as a younger Mr. Claywell he loved and acted like James Brown.

He loved his Family and Friends and always there to help. Mr. Claywell was preceded in death by his parents: George and Sadie; Brothers: Sylvester, Fred and Charles Sr.; Sisters: Mary, Martha, Lorean, Isabelle and Sadie. Mr. Claywell leaves to cherish his memory: three Children: Michelle Jestice, Andre Jestice and Lamarious Walker; four Grandchildren: Jayden Andrea Jestice, Daysjah Grace Jestice, Amari Person and Avah Person one Brother George Jestice; one Sister Sally Williams
