Cleaster Woods

January 4, 1945 ~ December 19, 2022 (age 77)

Cleaster Woods passed away on Monday December 19, 2022.  She was born on January 4, 1945 to the late Ernest and Susie Woods.    

Her funeral service was held on Friday December 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Old Bethel MB Church with Pastor Charlie Boyle in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Campbells Chapel Baptist Church.  She later moved her membership to Old Bethel Baptist Church.

She was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and enjoyed reading her Bible.  

At an early age her parents passed away and she was raised by her grandmother, Beatrice Woods.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandmother; three daughters, Susie, Brenda and Linda Woods; two sons, Previs Perry and Albert Gene Woods and two brothers, Ernest (Bo) and Donell Woods.

She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Earnestine (Tony) Macon, Janie, Elaine, Sandra and Debra Woods; one son, James (Cathy) Woods; a host of grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
