Cress Coble, 79, of Bolivar, Tn transitioned on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at Jackson Madison General Hospital at 6:50 am. 

His funeral service was held on Saturday October 15, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Greater Springfield MB Church with Pastor Shon Beasley in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Cress was born on November 27, 1942 to the late Cress and Alberta Coby in Bolivar, Tn. 

Cress attended Hardeman County School Systems. After high school, Cress moved to Union City, Tn and shortly after he relocated to Cleveland, OH.  Cress soon moved to Geiger, AL were he spent several years before moving back to Bolivar where he was employed and retired from Western Mental Health Institution. 

Cress was born into a family of 18. Cress is preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Myrtle and Betty, eight brothers: Cromwell, Charles, Donell, Leroy, Bobby, Carl Ray, Roosevelt, and Larry,  along with one granddaughter.  

Cress is survived by four children: Michele, Christy, Cress, and Karissa, seven brothers and sisters: LeRoy (Burdie), Diane, Carilon, Martha (Charlie), Helen, Craig, and Marvin, 13 grandchildren and great grandchildrena and a host of nieces and nephews.
