Della (Hunt) Cannon

Mrs. Della Viola Hunt Cannon was born May 17, 1956 to the late Rev. Leroy and Robbie Hunt. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday November 2, 2024 at 12:00 noon at New Stinson Community Church-Rossville.  Burial was in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery-Moscow and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Middleton High School.

Della professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined Pleasant Grove M.B. Church currently known as Rivers of Life Int'l Ministries.  She later joined Devine Favor & Fellowship Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Terry D. Smith.

On February 12, 1996 Della was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Lewis Cannon.    

In addition to her parents and her husband, Della was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie Hunt, Henry Hunt and Robert Parks; one sister, Carlin Glenn.

Della leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Tiffany Springfield of Memphis, TN; two sons, Roy (Natoya) Springfield of Southhaven, MS and Rory Springfield  of Memphis, TN; seven sisters, Priscilla Polk of Bolivar, TN, Lee Anner (Willie) Anderson, Queen Hunt, Stella Wells, Rosie (John) McKinnie, Annie (Antoine) Stinson, and Becky M. Hunt all of Grand Junction, TN; two brothers, Isaiah (Marian) Hunt and Stevent Hunt both of Grand Junction, TN; eleven grandchildren, Jermaine Dabney, Christin Farr, Jordan Springfield, Kaitlyn Farr, London Springfield, Karell Farr, Annalise Springfield, Antonio Springfield, Akylie Springfield, Kylen Walls and A'Zariya Springfield; one aunt, Beatrice Woody; one uncle, James Woody, five sisters-in-law, Shirley Cannon of Memphis, TN, Lillian Wiggins, Dorothy Sanders, Tijuana Echols, and Christine (Charles) McGhee all of Rossville, TN; three brothers-in-law, Prezell Cannon of Memphis, TN, Jasper (Patrice) Cannon and Michael Cannon both of Rossville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
