Dennis Jones was born August 20, 1967 to the late Elise Jones McKinnie and A.D. Morrow.

His funeral service was held on Saturday April 16, 2022 at 12:00 noon at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Minister James Morgan in charge.

Burial was in the Hopewell Church Cemetery-Grand Junction and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Dennis attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Middleton High School in 1985.

Dennis confessed a hope in Christ at an early age at Hopewell MB Church. He served on the Usher Ministry as a teenager. Every Sunday he would serve along side his mother with his creased black pants, pressed white shirt and black tie. He was a servant at heart.

Dennis loved giving and being a blessing to others, always willing to lend a helping hand. Dennis left home at the age of eighteen years old to pursue his career serving his country in the military and retired after twenty years serving the United States Navy. What made Dennis so special was every time he visited home, he clean and cooked daily for mom. Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Bobby Jones.

Dennis leaves to cherish his memories: his confidant: Jermaine Burks: one son; Dominic Jones: two grandchildren; Jaiden Jones and Jamichael Jones: : four brothers; William (Linda) Jones, Billy (Charlene) Jones, Garry (Gloria) Jones, and Ricky Jones: two sisters; Etta (Lee) Anderson and Rita Jones and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
