Donnell Crisp
January 6, 1949 ~ February 10, 2020 (age 71)
Mr. Donell Crisp entered the world on January 6, 1949, the twelth of the twelve children born to the late Mr. Tommy D. and Mrs. Elmer Macon Crisp. Eight siblings preceded him in death; Coriner, Cornelius, James, Dorothy, Tommy, Etta Mae, Austin, Raymond, and Leslie.
His funeral service was held on Saturday February 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Elder Herbert Murphy in charge. Burial was in the Jordan Cemetery in Middleton, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service
On February 10, 2020, God dispactched an angel to retrieve the soul of Mr. Donell Crisp from an ailing body, carrying it to a place of rest to await the return of our Savior.
Donell and his siblings were raised on a farm and learned early in life to work hard, work together, and love one another. His basic education was obtained in public schools of Hardeman County, Tennessee. He learned about Jesus when he was a child, attending Mount Olive M.B. Church with his parents and siblings.
Donell was a diligent worker. He was employed for some time at the Tannery in Bolivar, Tn. and served as a police officer with the Bolivar Police Dept. He really enjoyed when family and friends came together.
Those who will cherish memories of Donell are; his son Ronnie (Mary Ann) Crisp. Two children that he raised as his own; Calvin Sain and Lattice Sain. Two sisters; Ms. Ruth Smith and Mrs. Margie Sain of Middleton, Tn., a host of neices, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
