Doretha Yancey Graves of Jackson passed away on Monday July 22, 2024.  She was born on February 5, 1959 to the late William Scott and Lula Mae Yancey.  

Her funeral service was held on Saturday August 3, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Missionary Outreach Christian Church with Pastor Jimmy Moore in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

She attended the Hardeman County public schools and was employed for several years at Pine Meadows Healthcare.  

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Disa Marie Yancey; four grandchildren and three great grandchildren; four sisters, Vivian Wilkes, Velicia (Leon) Macon, Donna Sue Wilkes, Taniqua Scott; seven brothers, Johnnie Geno (Holly) Yancey, Junior Yancey, Vernell (Elizabeth) Woods, James l. Yancey, Jerry Yancey, James Edward Wilkes and Ronnie (Vanessa) Wilkes; many other relatives and friends that will miss her.
