Douglas Keith Elliott departed this life, peacefully, on April 17, 2023, at 62 years of age.

Douglas was born on March 9, 1961 in Hardeman County, to Willie Elliott and Alberta Elliott who proceeded him in death.

His funeral service was held on April 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at Oak Hill MB Church with Pastor Gene Bowden in charge.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

Douglas professed a hope in Christ at an early age and joined the New Mount Pleasant Baptist Church and served as a usher until he later joined the Oak Hill Baptist Church where he continued to serve the Lord until his death.

Douglas graduated from Middleton High School and continued to reside a quiet life in Middleton Tennessee.

Douglas was proceeded in death by one sister and one brother.

He is survived by his two sisters: Mary A. Lake and Emma Jones (David) of Middleton, TN: four brothers; Charles Jr. Elliott (Constance), Lee Elliott (Jo Ruth) of Middleton TN, James Elliott (Paula) of Jackson TN, and Kenneth Elliott of Grand Junction TN, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and a supportive and loving church family.
