Earnest Jarrett

Earnest Jarrett passed away on Monday July 31, 2023.  He was born on April 26, 1926 in Hardeman County to the late Algie Jarrett and Sarah Woods.  

His funeral service was held on Saturday August 5, 2023 at 12:00 noon at the Jerom Boyd Chapel @ Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend Algie Jarrett in charge.  Burial was in the Antioch Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

He grew up in Hardeman County and confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age.  

He was married to the late Leola Spencer and to this union three children were born.

Preceding him in death were his parents and wife; three sisters, Ollie Mae (ED) Williams, Ethel Mae (Jimmy) Woods, Earnestine (Hubert) Jackson; one brother, Robert Jarrett; one daughter, Thelma Jean Robertson and one granddaughter, Angela Allen.

He leaves to cherish his memory five sons, C.H. Woods, Homer Spencer, Tommy (Rashenna) Spencer, Roy (Tawanda) Taylor and Earnest (Beverly) Spencer, Jr.; eleven grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
