Edward Corielle Gray was born on March 4, 1996 to Keith Gray and Yolanda Laquida Gray in Bolivar, Tennessee.

His private service was held on Friday July 17, 2020 at 11:00 am at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Reverend Wayne Wooden in charge.  Burial was in the Antioch MB Church Cemetery in Whiteville, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

He attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Bolivar Central High in 2014.  He entered the University of Memphis in August of 2014 and while attending the university was a member of the Army ROTC for two years. As a Senior seeking graduation in 2021, he was pursuing a degree in Health Occupational Therapy and a minor in Military Science. He was employed at Bass Pro Shops, Memphis, Tn for the past four years.

He loved to travel, spend time with his family, and friends.

Edward was a young man with exemplary academics, relentless ambitions, and a model son that any parent would love to have. He loved his family as well as his friends. He was a gentle soul with a free spirit that is now soaring in Heaven with God.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories, his mom Yolanda Laquida Gray of Bolivar, TN; his dad Keith (Brenda) Gray of Whiteville, TN; brothers Edtavious (Tay) Gray of Bolivar, TN, Jonathon Woods of Jackson, Tn; sister Cordashay Gray of Bolivar, TN; Kai and Emri Swinger (his nieces)..ones that he treated as his own; and two step sisters, April and Whitney Rhodes of Whiteville, TN; His grandparents Jim & Edith Woods of Whiteville, TN and Dannie M. Jarrett of Bolivar, Tn; His Aunts Charity (Michael) Carpenter of Memphis, TN; Dr. Vanessa (Alec) Morrow of Olive Branch, MS; Priscilla (Wayne) Wooden of Jackson, TN; Faith (Terrance) Payne of Memphis, TN; and Karen Woods of Bolivar, Tn; His Uncles Rochell (Tasha) Woods of Whiteville, TN; U.L.(Deborah) Woods of Florissant, MO; Willie (Beverly) Woods; Robert (Linda) Woods; Lorenzo (Deidra) Woods all of Bolivar, TN; Gary (Jackie) Sain and Glen Gray of Bolivar, TN. Also, a very SPECIAL Friend, Tiffany Tran, and God son, Tristen Hill. He also leaves a special group of cousins, Jacarius Shaw, Tory Merriweather, Marques Wooden, and Kylan Herron that will miss him along with a host of other cousins, family, and friends.
