Edward Talley was born in Benton County, MS on December 25, 1942 to the late Mose and Sadie Stewart Talley.

His funeral service was on Saturday July 9, 2022 at 12:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Pastor Melvin Bufford in charge.  Burial was in the Pleasant Hil MB church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service. 

Edward was affectionately known to many as “Boo” Talley.

Edward worked as a truck driver for sixty years and was also employed at Fawcett Lumber.

Edward was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Elizabeth Jones Talley for fifty five years. Four children was born to this union.

Edward was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; one son, Edward Talley, Jr.; four brothers, Mose Talley, Jr., Demale Talley, Male Talley, and Connie Talley; one sister, Lois Perry.

Edward leaves to cherish his memories: three daughters; Sarah (Roosevelt) Humphrey, Diane Poplar, and Carolyn Talley: one brother; Jean Talley: three sisters; Ola Mae Talley, Bessie Allen, and Ester Anderson: two sister in laws; Patricia Anderson and Lillie Talley: fifteen grandchildren, twenty-five great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
