Elizabeth Mae (Beauregard) Gatlin
August 26, 1941 ~ January 29, 2026 (age 84)
Elizabeth Mae Gatlin was born on August 26, 1941, to the union of Robert and Lue Bertha Beauregard.
She was the eighth child of thirteen children.
At an carly age, Elizabeth accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and united with Old Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Bolivar, Tennessee.
Elizabeth was a beautiful, soft-spoken, and resillent woman.
She loved her children deeply and adored her only grandchild, Rachel.
An exceptional cook, she shared her love through home-cooked meals and by instilling in her children a faithful love for God.
Her family was her greatest joy.
On January 29, 2026, Elizabeth received her heavenly wings and entered into eternal rest. She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Lue Bertha Beauregard; five sisters, Gertrude Henderson, Dorothy Beauregard, Bernice Beauregard, Mary Ann Beauregard, and Rosie Ella Beauregard; and three brothers, Robert Beauregard Jr. R. V. Beauregard, and Baby Boy Beauregard.
Elizabeth leaves to cherish her loving memories to her daughter, Koletta (Corey) Douglas; her son, Phillip Gatlin; her only grandchild, Rachel Douglas; one niece, Brionna Hurde; her favorite nephews, Rev. George Beauregard Sr. and Charles Beauregard Sr.; two sisters, Mattie Rivers and Irene (Patrick) Tisdale Jr.; two brothers, Richard Beauregard and Joseph (Dorothy) Beauregard; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
