On August 18, 2020, 4:54 am the angels were summoned and ordered at Methodist North to softy rock. Floestine Tate to a peaceful sleep. 

Her private service was held on Saturday August 28, 2020 at 1:30 pm at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with burial in Hardaway MB Church Cemetery with Pastor Robert Poplar in charge and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

Mrs. Floestine Hudson was born to the late Mr. Johnny B. Hudson and Alline Valentine Hudson on March 10, 1951 in Saulsbury, Tn. She confessed Jesus as her Lord and Savior at an early age and became a member of Hardaway MB Church. 

Floestine attended Bolivar Industrial and later attended Northeast Mississippi Community College receiving a degree as a Registered Nurse. 

She was united in holy matrimony to Mr. Sylvester Tate on July 27, 1967 for 52 wonderful years. To this union, three children were born, Pamela, Shalandra and Sylvester.

Mrs. Tate was employed at Western Mental Health Instiution for 35 plus years, part time work for Bolivar General Hospital and Sun Rise Nursing Home.

Mrs. Tate leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and devoted husband, Sylvester; two daughters: Pamela (Tony) Tate of Bolivar, Tn, Shalandra (Enrico) Cross and one son, Sylvester (Tynessia) Tate, both of Olive Branch, Ms; seven grand children and another gained in love; Kaicee, three blossoming great grand daughters: Bailee, Aria and A'Niya; four sisters: Annie (Robert) Pugh, Alberta Hudson both of Chicago, Il, Virlene (Charles) Tate of Middleton and Dorothy J. Valentine of Ind; one brother: David (Elaine) Hudson an a host of marvelous nephews, nieces, relatives, and several outstanding friends. She will certainly be missed.
