On September 9, 1928 joy filled the hearts of the late Ann K. Talley and Goldie Buggs. They chose to name their girl, Flossie Ma

Her funeral service was held on Friday December 2, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Hardaway MB Church with Reverend Bobby Smith in charge.  Burial was in the Church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

On November 24, 2022, God saw that HIS child was growing weary and whispered, "Come unto me and rest" and you left us with only cherished sweet memories and to hold fast to our unbringings.

Flossie was educated in Benton County, Mississippi Public School District. 

Knowing that she needed a relatioship with God, Flossie accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Hardaway Chapel Missiionary Baptist CHurch. After relocating to Nashville, Tennessee: she united with St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Gary B. Murray. 

She was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Floyd Richardson. 

Sweet memories will be cherished by her six daughters, Floyce (Robert) James of Memphis, Tennessee, Annie Rogers, Gerald R. Brown, Mary Ann Richardson, Delorise Richardson, all of Nashville, Tennessee and Mary (Martin) Hardaway of Hickory Valley, Tennesse; four sons, Felton (Carolyn) Jones, Jerry Richardson, Lenard (Arginer) Richardson all of Bolivar, Tennessee; twenty eight grand children, fifty-nine great grand children, seventeen great-great- grand children, three sisters, Evelyn Hicks of Grand Junction, Tennessee, Annie Ruth (Bobby) Smith of Bolivar, Tennessee and Dorothy Jean Waters of California; three brothers, A.C. Buggs of Memphis, Tennessee, Freddie Lee Buggs fo Grand Junction, Tennessee and Izear Buggs of Michigan City, Mississippi and a host of family and friends that shall smile each time her name is called or a memory is shared. 

She was preceded in death by three sons, J.B. Richardson, Huber Richardson and Quenton Richardson; grandson, Jerry Lynn Richardson; great grand sons, Keith Price, Jr., Kellen Dorse and Jamir Robinson; siblings, Nathaniel Maethula, Emma, Zollie, Tinnie Mae, Eddie, Goldie Jr. and Louise.
