Gladys will be truly missed for her free and kind spirit. She loved listening to her gospel music daily and one of her favorite songs were “When the Gates Swing Open”. The family will miss her homemade remedies and her wealth of knowledge about family and life, but we will forever carry on her legacy.
Gladys accepted Christ at an early age and later joined Union Springs M.B. Church, where she was a faithful member until she was unable to actively attend in person.
Gladys graduated from Allen White High School. She continued her education at Whiteville Vocational School now known as Tennessee Technology Center in Whiteville, TN, where she received her Food Service Certification. Gladys was employed with Town House Restaurant in Bolivar, TN until it’s closing. After years of employment, Gladys decided to babysit to help her family raise the younger generations.
