Glynda Jean (Woods) Vincent

March 21, 1949 ~ January 22, 2022 (age 72)

Glynda Jean Woods Vincent passed away on Saturday January 22, 2022 at home in Bolivar.  She was born on March 21, 1949 to the late Alexander Woods and Alma Paige Woods.  She attended the Hardeman County and Kankakee, IL District 111 public schools.  

Her funeral service was held on Wednesday January 26, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com with Pastor Jermaine Shaw in charge.  Burial was in the Antioch MB Church Cemetery.  

She confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Antioch MB Church. She later relocated to Kankakee, IL where she lived most of her life.  

She was employed with the Mantina State Hospital in Kankakee, IL.

She married Hayward Vincent. 

She was preceded in death by her parents; three siblings, Gaston Harvey, Girtha and James  Woods.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband; four children, Clara (Lavale) Johnson, Stacy Williams, Mychal and Rick Hall; six grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
