Grady Lee Harriis, Jr. of Bolivar passed away on Thursday November 2, 2023 in Memphis.  He was born on July 18, 1950 to the late Grady Harris, Sr. and Ada Lee Marble Harris.  His funeral service was held on Saturday, November 11, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor David Lee Perry, Sr. in charge.  Burial was in the Bethlehem MB Church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He was a graduate of Bolivar Industrial High School and attended Tennessee State University.  

He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Bethlehem MB Church and later united with Greater Springfield MB Church.  

He was employed as a over the road truck driver. 

In April 1976 he married Annie Sain.  His hobbies included hunting, fishing and all sports. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Roland Harris.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of forty-eight years; his children, Shimika Harris Perry and  Marvin (Tonya) Sain; three grandchildren; three sisters, Kara Diggs, Alice Faye and Michelle Harris; three brothers, Douglas (Denise), Terry Wayne and Joseph Harris and many other relatives and friends that will miss him.
