Gregory B. Cross of Bolivar, TN passed away December 11, 2023.

His life journey was filled with cherished memories. Born on June 16, 1965 to the late Freddie and Jennie Cross in Bolivar, TN.

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 23, 2023 at 1:00 pm at Campbell's Chapel MB Church with Pastor  Young in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Greg excelled academically and graduated from Bolivar Central High School class of 1983.

Greg was known for his kind, warm spirit and how he freely expressed his love for family and friends.

Greg displayed a passion for singing and was a member of the gospel quartet group ( The Golden Aires) for many years.

He took on being a mechanic and was very good at it.

Greg remained a faithful member of Campbell Chapel MB Church where he served on the male chorus until his demise.

Greg established a life through marriage to Lisa Crisp Cross and to this union, two children were born. Through life changes they separated but the love they shared for their children remained.

Preceding Greg in death are his parents, Freddie and Jennie Cross; three brothers, Freddie Cross, Jr., David Cross, Sr., and Kenneth Cross; one sister, Taletha Traylor.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two children whom he cherished dearly; one son, Fredrickus Cross of Nashville, TN; one daughter, Jaleesa Cross of Murfreesboro, TN. He was the proud Paw-Paw of one grandson, Jahmir Harvey; four sisters, Shirley Cross of Murfreesboro, TN, Rhonda Cross of Jackson, TN, Mary Coby and Annie Cross of Bolivar, TN; four brothers; Larry (Brenda) Cross of Nashville, TN, Johnny Cross of Murfreesboro, TN, Terry Cross and Robert Woods both of Bolivar, TN; a nephew and niece whom he held a special bond, Vincent Cross and Taira Colby; a friend more like a brother, Michael Lake of Bolivar, TN. Greg was privileged with devoted neighbors whom he loved, Miya (Mamba) Perry and Calvin Tate. He was big on family, therefore, will be deeply missed by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
