Helen (McNeal) Minter
January 2, 1935 ~ February 16, 2021 (age 86)
Helen Minter was born to the late Mr. Tom and Mrs. Zillie (Hendrix) McNeal. Helen was the 5th child of twelve children. Six brothers (Sam, Arthur, William, David, Billy, Amos) and 1 sister (Dorothy) preceded her in death.
Her funeral service was held on Friday February 26, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Parham in charge with burial in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com in charge of the professional service.
At an early are, she joined Campbell Chapel M. B. Church and remained a faithful member until her death. She received her education in the Harde-man County Public Schools.
She was employed with Harman Automotive for many years. She was joined in holy matrimony to William E. Minter (better known as “Bubba Red”).
She leaves to cherish her precious memories a devoted, loving husband of 65 years, five children: Leon (Virginia) McNeal, Lisa McNeal, Sherry McNeal, all of Bolivar, TN, Gary McNeal of Jack-son, TN, DeWanda Faye (Greg) Smith of Smyrna, TN, ten grandchildren, and ten great grandchil-dren. Four sisters, Lillie B. McNeal, Odessa Chat-man, Hazel McNeal, all of Bolivar, TN, Ruthie (George) Beauregard of Jackson, TN. Three sis-ters-in-law, Gwen McNeal and Jean Allen of Boli-var, TN and Linda (Charles) Morrow of Whiteville, TN and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
