Ivory Lee Lockett

January 1, 1953 ~ February 22, 2026 (age 73)

Ivory Lee Lockett was born on January 1, 1953. to the late Surilda Lockett and late Earl Anderson He left this life to be with Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 21, 2026.

At an early age, he joined and was baptized at Mt. Salem MB Church in Hickory Valley, TN.

His funeral service was held on Saturday March 7, 2026 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home.  

He was employed at Harman Automotive for 30 years. Ivory touched the lives of so many people in his own way.

He loved spending time with his family and friends. He also loved shing and hunting with his best friend and son and grilling from time to time.

Ivory leaves to cherish his memories to 4 children; Erica and ivy Beard of Bolivar, TN, Cakaila Lockett and Amelia Lockett of Jackson, TN, 2 sisters; Delores Lockett and Evon Anderson, 1 brother; Aurthur Jr. Lockett, 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 1 sister-in-law, Carolyn Beard and 1 brother-in-law; James Ford, his favorite niece; Tameka Beard, his lady friend; Billy Jo, and his best friends,; Andrew Douglas, Charles Robertson, Percy Joy, Jerry Herron and Lawrence Sain.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife; Deborah Lockett.
