Jack (June) West, 81, of Bolivar passed away on Sunday December 8, 2019.  He was born on April 16, 1938 to the late Maggie Smith and Jack West. 

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 14, 2019 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend L.A. Springfield in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He was educated in the Hardeman County public schools and started work at a young age as a saw miller.

He enjoyed playing the guitar, visiting with family and watching westerns and wrestling on television. 

Preceding him in death were his mother and father, one brother, Oscar Smith and three sisters, Ommie, Doretha and Vernell Smith.

He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Susan (Beard) Champion; one sister, Minister Dorothy (Pastor James) Taylor, three grandchildren; a special niece, Betty (Clifton) Hudson and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
