James Kenneth Morrow

February 2, 1955 ~ May 17, 2026 (age 71)

James Kenneth Morrow was born to Katherine Morrow and the late Lewis Morrow, Sr. on February 2, 1955.

His funeral service is scheduled for Saturday May 30, 2026 at May's Hill MB Church.  Burial will be in the Ames Plantation Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com will be in charge of the professional service.

He attended Hardeman County Schools and graduated from Bolivar Central High School.

James was employed for over 48 years at the Ames Plantation as an Agricultural Specialist.

James confessed hope in Christ and joined Mays Hill MB Church where he remained a member until his death.

James was united in Holy Matrimony to Nancy Patterson Morrow.

James enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

James was preceded in death by his father; one daughter, Pamela Louise Morrow; one granddaughter, Rodeijhia.

James leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife of more than 48 years, Nancy Patterson Morrow; two children, Phelicia (Darice) Rivers and Tina (Rodney) Hardeman; his mother, Katherine Morrow; two brothers, Charlie (Sherrie) Morrow and Lewis (Fulanda) Morrow; nine sisters, Mae Lois (Ray) Lafayette, Emma (Robert) Neely, Christine Morgan, Lindy Morrow, Ella (Wallace) Jackson, Bernice (Donnell) Murphy, Valerie Morrow, Clara (Jerome) Gibson, and Brenda (Ralph) Patrick; nine grandchildren, Rodricus, Daricus, Fantajhia, Ra'Naya, O'darice, Dydrikus, Kentrell, Iolaijhia, and Harley; seven great-grandchildren; one aunt, Novella Morrow; three sister-in-laws, Emma McClellan, Gwendolyn Patterson, and Gail Patterson; two brother-in-laws, Danny Lee McClellan and Dennis Ray Patterson and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
