James Pugh

March 6, 1963 ~ October 14, 2022 (age 59)

James Wayne Pugh, better known as Wayne, was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Wayne Pugh, 59, of Grand Junction, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, in Bolivar, Tennessee. 

His funeral service was held on Saturday October 22, 2022 at 1:00 pm at Rivers Of Life International Ministries with Bishop Manuel Donis in charge.  Burial was in the Church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Wayne was the son of the late Johnny and Maggie Pugh. Wayne confessed a hope in Christ at an early age and was a faithful member with Rivers of Life International Ministries until the failing of his health. Wayne graduated from Middleton High School.

He was a former employee at The Troxel Company of Moscow, TN as well as a former construction worker. Wayne will be remembered by his family and friends in their own special way. Some of his hobbies consisted of serving at his church for the food pantry, woodworking, drawing, and playing basketball.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents: Johnny and Maggie Pugh; two sisters: Arlena Hartson-Bills and Dorothy Ann Pugh; three brothers: Johnny Pugh, Robert Lee Pugh, and Henry Pugh. Wayne leaves to cherish his memories, three daughters: LaYasmin Pugh of Bolivar, TN, LaSandra (Brandon) Smith-Lynn of Grand Junction, TN, and Paige Pugh of Grand Junction, TN; three grandsons: DeTerrious Jones, DaiTaveeious Smith, and Brandon Lynn Jr. all of Grand Junction, TN; one granddaughter: DaiTeevia Smith of Grand Junction, TN; one grandson whom is expected to make his arrival in March 2023; one great-granddaughter: Ameria Smith; five sisters: Dorothy Pearl Pugh, Mary Pugh, Margret Pugh, Ruth Ann Pugh, and Helen Pugh; two brothers: Herbert Pugh and Charles Pugh, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.
