Jammie Hendrix was born to the union of the late James and Mary Louise Crews Hendrix, October 18, 1972. He departed this life on Saturday, September 29, 2018.
His memorial service was held on Thursday October 4, 2018 at 11:00 am at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Pastor Robert Parham in charge. Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
He accepted Christ at an early age and joined the Greater Springfield MB Church. Jammie was active with the youth choir, male chorus, and other church activities while attending Springfield.
He loved his Alabama Crimson Tide Football Team and often encouraged them with the expression “roll tide!” He was at his happiest moment when they won.
He leaves to cherish his memory, one son, Kaizen Hendrix and one daughter, Aleshayana “Ali” Johnson. One brother, Ronald Hendrix and one sister, Alice Hendrix, both of Nashville, Tennessee. His uncle, Randy (Margrette) Crews, cousins, Angie McMicken of Nashville, TN, Shandy (Larry) Taylor, Brandy (Tony) Whitford, Randy Jr., all of Bolivar, TN, Marcus (Sonya) Crews of Nashville, TN, Annie L. Jones, a favorite matriarch of the family, and a host of other loving relatives and friends.
