Jammie L. Perers of Jackson, 46, passed away on Wednesday January 1, 2025. She was the forth of five children.  She was born on January 7, 1978 to Delois Lockett Peters and the late James Peters.  

Her funeral service was held on Friday January 17, 2025 at the Jerome Boyd chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend Gene Bowden in charge.  Burial was in the Simon Chapel Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.  She attended Jackson Central Merry High School.

She was a devoted mother and grandmother that enjoyed being with her family, cooking, cleaning, dancing and joking.  

She was preceded in  death by her father and brother, James L. Peters.

She leaves to cherish her memory her mother; the children Alexius and Ty'Breanuia Peters and Brooklyn Taylor; siblings Lisa (Randy) Hurt, Bernita Lockett, LaSonya Morrow, Devonna Cross, Antran Newble and Bricky Peters; two grandsons and a host of relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
