Mr. Jeffrey Ray Davis, Sr. affectionately known as “Jeff”, was born October 30, 1955 in Memphis, TN to Joseph Davis, Sr. and Georgia Ann (McKenzie) Davis.

His funeral service was held on Saturday December 2, 2023 at 12:00 noon at St. Paul Skipper Springs MB Church with Reverend Josepth Davis, jr. in charge.  Burial was in the Samuel Chapel Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Jeff accepted Christ as his personal savior at an early age at Palestine Church in Michigan City, MS. Jeff was a hard worker and determined individual.

He was a great dad and words can’t express how awesome he was at being a grandfather. He was as his name, Jeffrey meant, “Pledge of Peace/ God’s Peace”.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph Davis, Sr. and Georgia Ann Davis: one brother; Bennie Joe Davis.

Jeff departed this life Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS. Jeffrey Davis leaves to cherish his loving memory: his wife; Annie Davis of Grand Junction, TN: his son; Jeffrey Davis, Jr. of Grand Junction, TN: his daughter; Jasmine Davis of Grand Junction, TN: his only granddaughter; Harmony Hadia Bowden of Grand Junction, TN: four brothers: Joseph Davis, Jr. (Dolly) of South Haven, MS, Jackie Ray Davis (Arcelia) of Walnut, MS, Larry Davis (Virginia) of Ashland, MS, and Charles Davis (Sandra) of Memphis, TN: seven sisters; Hattie McCaskill, Barbara Ann Moore ( Victor), Floy Faye Green, Connie Davis, Marilyn Davis (Carl), Debbie Davis, and Teresa Davis all of Memphis, TN: his mother-in-law; Frankie Mae Harris of Grand Junction, TN: two brothers-in-law; Dewey Harris and Joe Harris both of Bolivar, TN: five sisters-in-law; Debbie Bradley (Coreal) from Arlington, TN, Martha Harris of Grand Junction, TN, Belinda Davis of Olive Branch, MS, Corra Long of Ashland, MS, and Annie Lee Harris of Chicago, IL: a close friend; Vanessa Williams and a tribe of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
