Jerome Dickson

November 12, 1956 ~ January 31, 2025

Jerome Dickson of Chicago, IL passed away on January 31, 2025.  He was born on November 12, 1956 to the late Willie Dickson and Annie Mae McTizic Dickson.

His Tennessee funeral service was held on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at 12:00 noon at Zion Temple worship Center.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.  

He attended the St. Francis Cabrini and Our lady of Sorrows Catholic School in Chicago and graduated from East Waterloo (IA) High School.  

In 1974 he joined the United States Army until 1977 when he was honorably discharged.  

He worked as a journeyman electrician and attended Olive Harvey College. 

He was employed with Burlington Northern Railroad as an electrician for thirty-seven years.  In 1995 he established Dickson Estates Apartments.  He was involved in several community development projects where he purchased abandoned property for development.  

He leaves to cherish his memory his life partner, Penny Hall; four children, Marisa Dickson, Kristen London, Kelly and Jerome Hall; twelve grandchildren and many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
