Jerry L Woods

November 8, 1959 ~ June 8, 2023 (age 63)  

Jerry L. Woods, 63, of Bolivar passed away on Thursday June 8, 2023.  He was born on November 8, 1959 to the late John Ed Woods and Lucille Williams.  

His funeral service was held on Saturday June 17, 2023 at 2:30 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Benefit Association and Funeral Home, Inc. (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service. 

He professed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Union Springs MB Church.  He later joined Campbell's Chapel MB Church. 

He was educated in the Hardeman County public schools.    

He was full of life and enjoyed making people laugh.

Preceding him in death were his parents and two brothers, Marshall Woods and Wiley Murphy.  

He leaves to cherish his memory two sisters, Artie Joy and Vera (Robert) Hudson; three brothers, Charles (Darlene) Woods, Bishop Jesse Williams and James Murphy; many other family and friends that will truly miss him.
