Jerry Lee "Jaylee" Parham, 89, passed away in Jackson on Wednesday January 31, 2024.  He was born on February 24, 1934 in Fayette County to the late George Parham and Irine Spencer Parham.

His funeral service was held on Tuesday February 6, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Antioch MB Church-Whiteville with Pastor Jermaine Shaw in charge.  Burial was in the Spencer Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

At an early age in confessed a love for Jesus Christ and joined Antioch MB Church where he remained a member.  He loved outdoor hobbies including hunting and fishing and also enlyed the company of family and friends.  He retired from Harmon/Harvard Automotive-Bolivar after twenty-three years.

Preceding him in death were his parents and stepfather, Adale McGowan, one brother and five children.

He leaves to cherish his memory one brother, Dale Lee McGowan, Sr. and one sister, Glendora Parham; four sons, Terrance (Margret) Joy, William Anderson, Andre (Kimberly) Parham and Titus Parham; four daughters, Merlene (Bruce) Cole, Tanglar Taylor, Angelia (Michael) Hollister and Catrina Jones; thirty-seven grandchildren, forty-two great-grandchildren and  twenty-six great, great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
