Ms. Jo Ann Chappell departed this life on February 9, 2021 at Methodist Unversity Hospital in Memphis, Tn. She was bron on June 17, 1957 to the late Jim (Jock) Rivers and Mary (May) Liza Rivers. To this union nine children were born.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 27, 2021 at 1:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with burial in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com in charge of the professional service.

One daughter preceded her in death.

Jo Ann leaves to cherish her memory six children: Mary Jane Chappell, Casey (Lineka) Rivers, Eugene Rivers, Latoshia (Rick) Phinnessee, Melissa (Ralph) Pirtle, and Adriquiz Chappell, sixteen grandchildren, great grand children, nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss her dearly. 

Three special friends that will cherish her memory: Evelyn Murphy, Lisa Jackson and Lotti Pollard.
