Joe Evelyn Haddix
July 27, 1940 ~ November 4, 2021 (age 81)
On November 4, 2021 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jo Ann Haddix went home to be with the Lord. JoAnn was born to the late Mr. Gilmore Wyatt and Jessie Lue Wyatt-Clark on July 27, 1940 in Newbern, TN.
Her funeral service was held on Saturday November 13, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor David L. Perry in charge. Burial was in the Bethlehem Baptist Church #1 Cemetery in Mercer, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
JoAnn was preceded in death by; one son: Arbra Joe Haddix; four sisters: Louise Clark, Clara Barber, Virginia Mae Dell Smith, and Ida Mae Anderson; two brothers: Theodore Wyatt and Robert Clark.
JoAnn completed her education at the Hardeman County School District. She was employed at Harman Automotive until the plant closed and she later retired. JoAnn confessed a hope in Christ and later joined Bethlehem Baptist Church #1 under the leadership of Reverend David L. Perry.
JoAnn leaves to cherish four children; Lula (Every) Harris, Clay Haddix, John Haddix, and Oller Ray Haddix; three sisters: Jackie Todd, Willie Heard, and Lee
Anna (Chester) Clardy; fifteen grandchildren, forty four great-grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends that loved her dearly.
