Joe Landy Williams passed away on Sunday January 16, 2022.  He was born in Detroit, MI on August 19, 1956 to the late Joe Dean Williams and Ruth Williams James.

He was the fourth eldest of five children.  

He had a special bond with his late step-father Benjamin James.  

After he graduated from high school he started work with the Chrysler Corporation and worked for more than twenty years.

In 1981 he married the late Miranda Johnson and they had two sons, Christopher Michael and Joseph Aaron Williams.

He loved fashion and he started modeling.

He was introduced to Jehovah Witnesses by a neighborhood friend.

He enjoyed sports, especially baseball and had a passion for cooking that lead him to culinary school.

He was baptized on February 5, 2011 and enjoyed spending time with his spiritual family. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and sister, Ann McKinnie.

He leaves to cherish his memory his sons, Christopher and Joseph Williams and Jason Simpson; brothers James (Joyce) and Donyell (Monica) Williams; sister, Martha Price; and a host of other relatives and friends that will miss him.
