Joyce Ann Clark was born to the late Robert Clark and Josephine Taylor Clark on October 25, 1959.
A Time to Embrace
Joyce Ann professed a hope in Christ Jesus at Antioch MB Church and later joined House of Refuge under Pastor Chester Cox, as a member and an usher, then she moved her membership to New Bethel Church of God in Christ where she was a faithful member under Pastor Willie T. McNeil.
A Time to Build Up Joyce Ann graduated from Bolivar Central High School in 1977. She attended Lane College where she studied Sociology. Joyce Ann worked in the health care field which she loved and she was a grand parent for Toone Elementary School.
A Time to Die
Her private service was held on Sunday July 19, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Pastor Willie T. McNeil in charge. Burial was in the Antioch MB Church Cemetery in Whiteville, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
Joyce Ann departed this life of 60 years with family on July 11, 2020 at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Clark, one brother, Antionio Clark, and one son, Mareco Clark. A Time to Celebrate and Mourn Joyce Ann leaves to cherish his memories, a loving mother, Josephine Clark of Bolivar, Tn; two sons, Undra DeShawn Clark and Christopher O’Neal Clark of Bolivar, Tn, eight grandchildren, four sisters, Martha Sue (Bernard) Bufford, Shelia (Greg) Hunt, JoAnn McGowan and Angela Clark all of Bolivar, one brother, Robert Clark, Jr of Bolivar, Tn, one aunt, Cleaster Griggs of Dalton, IL, one uncle, Ernest (Thelma) Taylor of Rockford, IL, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many close friends who will miss her greatly.
