Knoxie Mae McKinney(ie) passed away on Thursday January 14, 2021. She was born on June 19, 1942 in Hardeman County to the late Knox Crisp and Mary Louise Macon.
Her funeral service was held on Thursday January 21, 2020 at 1:00pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend Dennis Blaylock in charge. Burial was in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery-Bolivar and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
She was married to the late John McKinnie, Sr.
Preceding her in death were her parents and husband, children, Clifton, Jerry and Kenneth Wade McKinnie; and sister, Ethel mae Fitzhugh and Sally Ruth Sain.
She leaves to cherish her children Mary (Bill) Williams, Brenda, Linda, John, Jr., Dedrick "Shun" McKinnie and Elizabeth Macon; two brothers, James Macon and Forest (Jackie) Crisp; four sisters, Mamie (Carlton) Allen, Geneva (Issac) McKinnie and Sadie (Willie) Miller; several grand and great-grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will miss her.
