A Time To Be Born: Lawrence Morrow was born on August 26, 1963 in Fayette County, TN. To the late Richard Zims & Lucinda Morrow. Lawrence was raised by his mother, big sisters and brothers.
A Time To Embrace: He accepted Christ at an early age joined Old Bethel Baptist church.
A Time To Build Up: Lawrence attended Fayette County Schools System where he was an avid basketball player.
A Time To Love: Lawrence, affectionately called LoDad, loved his family and friends. He was a straight forward, no non sense loving person. He was everybody’s baby.
A Time To Die: On March 2, 2020, he went home to be with the Lord. Now! He is done with the troubles of this world.
His funeral service was held on Saturday March 6, 2020 at 2:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie FH with Minister Johnnie Nelson in charge. Burial was in the Independent Middleburg, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.
A Time To Celebrate and Mourn: Lawrence would have us to celebrate his life and not his death. He leaves six sons; Cedric (Vetta) Morror, David L. Taylor, Lawrence Bills, Raymecus Hill, Michael (Dominique) Rivers, and Sterling Rivers: one son preceded him in death; Mario Morrow: one daughter, Polly Bills Morrow: He was blessed to have several siblings; Helen Boyland, Willie Morrow, Charles Morrow, James T. Puryear, James T. McGowan, George Zims, Richard Zims,Jr., Janet Zims, and Maggie Jones all preceded him in death. He leaves four sisters; Thelma (Sam) Smith, Rosie (James) Loyde, LyKater (Roger) Kimble, and Patricia Minter: one brother; Joe H. Puryear: eight grandchildren; De’Niyis, Adarius, Sedrick, Zacharriah, Paisley, Lawrence III, Ja’Michael, and Sterling Jr,; one grandchild prceded him in death, Nellie Braddock: two special friends; Gladys Rivers of 33 years whom remained his friend until his death and Erica Cheairs who also remained a special friend until his death: Larry Polk, Jeff Joy, Gary Rivers, Timothy Hill, and Charles Hill: a host of nieces, nephews, friends.
The family would like to thank God for the 56 years that he loaned Lawrence earthly family and friends.
