Lennie (Simpson) Jones

August 28, 1950 ~ May 28, 2022 (age 71)

Lennie Lee Simpson Jones of Decatur, GA passed away on May 28, 2022.  She was born in Sausbury, TN on August 28, 1950 to the late Willie Simpson and Kermit Glass.

Her graveside service was held on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at 11:00 am at the West Tennessee Veteran Cemetery-Memphis and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

She accepted Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Pleasant Grove MB Church in Sausbury and later joined First Apostolic Chuch in East point, GA.

She was educated in the Hardeman County public schools.  She attended vocational school  and started a business with her spouse, the late Joe Louis Jones.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband and son, Joe Louis Jones, Jr.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children Fredrick Jones and Diane (Fabion) Ellis; brothers and sisters -in-law; many other relatives and friends that will miss her.
