Lizzie Mae Beard McNeal was born May 25, 1940 to the late Richard and Allie Ray Boyle Beard.

Her funeral service was held on Wednesday December 18, 2024 at 1:00 pm at the Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Shon Beasley in charge.  Burial was in the Bethlehem MB Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Two of her sisters, Bettie and Geneva preceded her in death.

She attended Allen White High School in Hardeman County.

She was employed at Harmon Automotive for over twenty four years.

Lizzie accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was united with Antioch MB Church. She love the Lord. She later joined Bethlehem MB Church where she was very faithful. She attended Sunday service, Sunday School, Missionary Bible class and was a member of the Mother’s Board.

She loved attending the Senior Citizen Center. She was a member of the Associate Choir member of the NAACP, She enjoyed going to ball games and supporting her great grandchildren.

Lizzie was united in Holy Matrimony to the late Thomas McNeal.

She was also preceded in death by one daughter, Treese in 2013.

Lizzie leads to cherish her memories: three sons, Minister Clarence Edward (Judith), Elvin Donell, and Milton Beard; one daughter, Gwen Dora ( Melvin) Brown, eleven grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, three sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, two nieces as caregivers, Mary (Speedie) Miller and Janice (Elliot) Morrow; two special neighbors whom served as caregivers, Rev. Charlie and Tina Boyle, a host of cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
