Maggie Sue Woods, 89, of Bolivar passed away on Thursday March 30, 2023.  She was born in Fayette County on October 24, 1933 to the late Rose Woods and Will Crews. 

Her funeral service was held on Saturday April 8, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Green Grove MB church with Pastor Daryl Ransom in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) in charge of the professional service. 

She confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Old Bethel MB Church where she became a member of the choir.  On December 8, 1057 she married Robert L. Woods and joined Green Grove MB Church where she again joined the chior.  

She was a member of the Independent Lodge Local #1.  

She was a housewife and enjoyed taking care of her family and church friends.  

Preceding her in death were her parents; three siblings, RosieMae Woods, Thomas Norment and Leo Tatum and other relatives.  

She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Dorothy (Jimmie Lee) Rucker, Jeannette (Charlie Ray) Johnson, Debra Bowden, Robert l. (Brenda) and Ricky Lynn (Shelia) Woods; nine grandchildren, twenty-two great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren; a host of other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
