Marderick Alexander Turner (age 50) passed away on Wednesday September 24, 2024 at his home after a lengthy illness.  He was born on November 6, 1973 to Willie R. Jones and the late Annie M. Turner.  

His funeral service was held on Sunday September 29, 2024 at 1:00 pm at Hillfield MB Church with Pastor Lawrence Pirtle in charge.  Burial was in the church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He was member of Hillfield MBC and a 1994 graduate of Bolivar Central High School.  

He was married to Kandra Lake and was a true Dallas Cowboy fan.

He was preceded in death by his mother, grandparents and mother in law.

He leaves to cherish his memory his loving wife; five daughters, Kizwanna Cunningham, MaKedra Glass, Brooklyn Turner, Darsheena Lake and Earlishia  (Quaterio) Robertson; five brothers, Linnard (Karolyn) Turner, Bryan (Shakethis) Dodson, Trent, Darrell (Corliss) and Cordell Futrell; sixi sisters, Shareta (Tyrone) Hardaway, Towanda Jones, Tywonna Blaylock, Octavia Deberry, Lekeshia and Amber Jones; nine grandchildren; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss him.
