Marlean N Jackson

December 19, 1941 ~ August 18, 2022 (age 80)

Mrs. Marlean “Molly” Jackson, daughter of the late Eddie Ray and Bessie Mae Tisdale, was born December 19, 1941 in Whiteville, TN.

Her funeral service was held on Monday August 29, 2022 at 1:00 pm at All Nations Church of God and Pastor Emmanuel Simmons was in charge of the service.  Burial was in the Union Hill MB Church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

She attended Hardeman County Schools. At an early age, she professed her faith in Jesus Christ and joined Johnson Chapel CME. Marlean moved to Chicago, Illinois where she was united in Holy Matrimony to Marion Jackson who preceded her in death. Marlean later relocated back to TN and joined All Nations Church of God in Bolivar, TN. She was a faithful church member who loved to read her bible daily and spend time with her family. Marlean was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and two brothers; Larry Tisdale and John Tisdale; one brother in law, Willie James McGowan. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her brothers: Charlie Lee Tisdale, Willie Tisdale, Gary Michael Tisdale all of Whiteville, TN: sisters; Virginia Williams, Bessie Lee Williams of Memphis, TN, Dorothy Crews of Smyrna, TN, Norma Tisdale, Elma (Charlie) Woods of Bolivar, TN, and Gladys McGowan: stepchildren; Leonard Jones and Frances; special friend, Ruby Washington; close cousin, Edna McKinnie and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
