Martha Jean Harris was born November 2, 1955 to the late Mr. Nora and Mrs. Lula Harris in Whiteville, TN.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday December 14, 2024 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Randy James in charge.  Burial was in the Johnson Chapel CME Church Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Early in life, she dedicated her life to the Lord and became a member of Johnson Chapel C.M.E. Church.

On Tuesday, December 3, 2024, God sent an angel to Bolivar General Hospital at 3:15 PM to retrieve the soul of Martha Harris from an ailing and delivered her to a place of rest of our Lord and Savior.

Mrs. Martha worked at Country View Estates. She loved watching T.V and movies, doing puzzles, reading and gardening. 

Ms. Lula Joe Harris, Mrs. Rosie Mae ( Reverend Robert) Hurd, Ms. Lenora Herron, Lois Harris-Herron, Ed Harris, and James Thomas Harris all preceded her in death. Martha Harris leaves to cherish her loving memories: two sons, Dexter and Justin Harris; one sister, Ms. Dorothy Greene; one brother, Mr. Nolen Harris (Melany) and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends
