Mrs. Marvarene Gizzella Jones was born September 2, 1941 to the late Jim and Mary Eliza Norment in Whiteville, TN.

She accepted Christ as Lord and Savior of her life at an early age and joined Union Hill MB Church, where she remained a faithful member until her death.

Gizzella was joined in Holy Matrimony to Mr. A.W. Jones, Sr. To this union, two boys were born. A.W. Jones Jr. and William Lloyd Jones who preceded her in death.

Gizzella leaves to cherish her memories: her son; A.W. Jones, Jr. of Chicago, IL: nine grand-children, sixteen great grandchildren, and four great- great grandchildren all of Chicago, IL: four sisters; Faye Bowers of Whiteville, TN, Carolyn (Sam) Lewis of Jonesboro, AR, Terri Norment of Chicago, IL, and Sadie Bufford of St. Louis, MO: two very special friends whom are more like sisters; Mrs. Opal Shaw and Mrs. Dorothy Green and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
