Mrs. Mary Ann Sain Posey passed away on Wednesday February 12, 2020 in Jackson.  She was born on February 12, 1950 to the late Roosevelt Sain and Lue Berta Woods Sain.

Her funeral service was held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 1:00 pm in the Antioch MB Church with Bishop Connie Wright in charge. 

Burial was in the Union Springs MB Church Cemetery-Whiteville and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

She confessed a hope in Jesus Christ at a young age and joined Union Springs MBC.  She later joined House of Faith Ministries where she was a faithful member.

She attended school at Union Springs and Allen-White Schools.

She was married to Freddie Jones and later James Posey, both of whom preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memory one daughter, Linda (Rufus) Jenkins; three sons, Freddie, Jr., Trenton (Laquita) and Prince Jones; twelve grand children; three brothers, CH Woods, Monroe Sain and Roosevelt (Dale) Sain, Jr.; nine sisters, Odie B. (James) Smith, Dorothy (Jimmy) Long, Minnie Joy, Gladys (Woody) Long, Clara (Amer) Harris, Colleen Harris, Carolyn (Curtis) Barnes, Gail Copeland and Janice (Kenneth) Murphy; many other relatives and friends that will truly miss her.
