Melanie Kemat Woods, 56, born to Sadie Taylor and Henry Traylor in Jackson, TN on May 14, 1964.

Her service was held on Saturday June 13, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie Boyle in charge.  Burial was in the Bethlehem Church Cemetery-Bolivar and Dixie Funeral Home (www.dixiefuneralhome.com) was in charge of the professional service.

Melanie graduated from Carbondale Community High School  in 1982.

In 1992, she graduated from West Tennessee Business College for Medical Assistant.

She joined the United States Army on May 9, 19 1984.

She leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Jasmine Huley; one son: Tommy Woods Jr; three grandchildren: Mitchell Ellison III, Codi Lee Woods, and Ziona Green and a host of other relatives and friends.
