Micah Lorne Blakemore was born July 17, 1982 to Joyce Joy (Blakemore) and Previs Woods. Micah was educated in the Hardeman County School System. He professed a hope in Christ at an early age. 

His funeral service was held on Saturday July 15, 2023 at 12:00 noon at Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Cortney Robinson in charge.  Burial was in the Bolivar Community Cemetery and Dixie funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service. 

"Black Mike" as he was known by his family, enjoyed detailing cars and listening to blues music. He will be remembered for his love of his family, friends, the sound of his laughter and practical jokes.

Micah was loved by so many and his transition from this life will leave a void that time will not heal. 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Joyce Joy, 2 sons, Micah and Jaycion Blakemore, a daughter, MaLeigha Blakemore, 2 sisters, Shatoya Blakemore (Torayo Brown) and Melody Blakemore, 2 brothers, Jayden and Malik Williams and a large host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends who will miss him immensely. Among those are Ms. Callie Ellison who remained a faithful friend to Micah and his family.
