Michael Jones of Bolivar passed away on Friday May 21, 2021.  He was born in Whiteville on March 30, 1969 to Rosie Mae and the late Donzell Jones, Sr.  

His funeral service was held on Saturday May 29, 2021 at 10:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with minister Faith Payne in charge.  Burial was in the New Life MB Church Cemetery-Laconia and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service. 

He attended the Hardeman County public schools and accepted Jesus Christ at a young age.  

He was employed at local Hardeman County sawmills.  

He was well known throughout the Bolivar community and known for his warm and sociable personality.

Preceding him in death was his father and one brother, Clarence William Morgan.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother; two daughters, Makesha and Mekel Brown; five grandchildren; siblings, Donzell, Jr., Jerry (Mary), Robert (Nicole), Ricky Beatrice, Rosie Mae Jones, Patricia (Sherman) Morgan and Mary Neely; and a host of other family and friends that will truly miss him.
