Mr. Moses Woods, Jr. of Bolivar, Tennessee transitioned from this life on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Jackson General Hospital in Jackson, Tenn.

His funeral service was held on Saturday November 21, 2020 at 12:00 pm at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Jermaine Shaw in charge.  Burial was in the Hillville Cemetery-Whiteville, Tn and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

He was born in Hardeman County on April 24, 1933 to the late Moses Woods, Sr. and Amelia Murphy.

He attended Hardeman County Schools and resided in Whiteville, Tennessee until he moved to New York (Queens), New York.

Moses returned to Hardeman County after he retired.

His wife, Georgia Mae, five sisters, six brothers, and one grandson preceded him in death.

He leaves to cherish his memories: two sisters: Mary Lee Herron and Lorena Lowe both of Whiteville, TN, one brother, Robert (Louise) Woods of Humboldt, TN, children: Ruby (Lee) Conner of Whiteville, TN, Jeannie (Barnie) Bills of Bolivar, TN, Imajean (Johnny) Rosier of Murfreesboro, TN, Elaine (Charles) Pickens of Memphis, TN, Renee (Tyrone) Willis of Silver Spring, MD and Rickey Anderson of Bolivar, TN and a host of grandchildren great-grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins, and two sister-in-law's.
