Jimmie Louise Jones was born in Tiplersville, MS to the late, Robert Thomas and Irene Willis, on February 8, 1941.  She departed this life on February 22, 2025 at Adamsville Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

Her funeral service was held, on Saturday March 22, 2025 @  11:00 am @ the Jerome Boyd Chapel @ Dixie Funeral Home with Reverend Earl Bowden in charge.  Burial was in the Mt. Zion Cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.

Jimmie received her education in Hardeman County while attending Allen White School in Whiteville, TN and Bolivar Industrial School.

On October 27, 1957, she married her late husband, Maynard Cornelius Jones. Upon this reunion, she birthed five beautiful children. Jimmie remained a loyal wife and nurturing mother until her timely death.

Jimmie accepted Christ at an early age where she remained faithful and true to the word of God. She served on the usher board as a member of New Mount Pleasant M.B. Baptist Church.

She also served as a sister in the Sisterhood. She served as a sister with the Independent Society NO.3 for over thirty years.

She was a loving mother, dedicated wife, and devoting grandmother. Jimmie is preceded in death by her mother, Irene Willis, her son, Kelsie Neal Jones, her sister, Martha Ruth Wilkes, and her granddaughter, Melissa Jones.

She leaves to cherish her memories to her four children, Loretta Jones and Teresa Jones of Middleton, TN., Gregory Jones and Kim Jones of Bolivar, TN, ten grandchildren and a host of great-grandchildren, great great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends
