Orlando McKinnie was born October 3, 1975 to Issac and Geneva McKinnie. He departed this life Thursday, October 21, 2021.
His funeral service was held on Saturday October 30, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Jerome Boyd Chapel at Dixie Funeral Home with Pastor Dwight Rucker in charge. Burial was in the Mays Hill Church Cemetery-Hickory Valley and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.
Orlando graduated from Bolivar Central High School. At an early age, he professed Christ as his Lord and Savior at Greater New Hope MB Church under the leadership of Elder James Patterson. Orlando started his trucking career at the age of twenty-one with Star Transportation. He worked with them until his health failed. He had great work ethics, very sociable, fun, loving, and caring person with such an amazing smile.
He was preceded in death by his brother Gregory McKinnie; both grandmothers: Mamie B. McKinnie and Sallie Mae Crisp; both grandfathers: John L. McKinnie and Knox Crisp.
Orlando leaves to cherish his memories: his loving wife: Stacy McKinnie of Hickory Valley, TN; his parents: Issac and Geneva McKinnie of Bolivar, TN; one brother: Lane ( Lisa) McKinnie of Smyrna, TN; one sister: Javonna McKinnie of Bolivar, TN; two daughters: LaKyah Williams of Bolivar, TN and Bridney Williams of South Carolina; four grandchildren; Kenjavius Williams, Na’Bria Burnett, Jamarie Moore, and Kingston Woods; two godchildren: Brennan Lake and Jayla Lee Rivers; two step-daughters: Sheragin Jones and Dianesha Jones and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.
