Ramsey Fleet was born September 24, 1957 to the late Ozell Newble and Merlene Montgomery Crews.

His funeral service was held on Saturday August 27, 2022 at 12:00 pm Clover Garden CME Church and Pastor Nathan Gibbs was in charge of the service.  Burial was in the Church cemetery and Dixie Funeral Home www.dixiefuneralhome.com was in charge of the professional service.  

He departed this life on Thursday, August 18, 2022 at Jackson Madison County Hospital.

Ramsey received his education in the Hardeman Co. School System. He was employed with the town of Whiteville for thirty-nine years.

He also was a fireman with the Whiteville Fire Department for twenty-eight years.

He was loved very much and would help anyone.

Ramsey leaves to cherish his memories: his wife of thirty-two years; Loretta: one stepson; Adrian: three brothers; Eddie (Tina) Fleet, Jr. and Marvin (Kaysha) Fleet both of Whiteville, TN, and Undrae Newble of Bolivar, TN: one sister-in-law; Margaret Morton of Brownsville, TN: five brothers-in-law; Willie (Augustine) Morton of Brownsville, TN, Willie C. (Kim) Morton of Somerville, TN, Walter Morton of Oklahoma, David Morton of Somerville, TN, and Dennis Morton of Memphis, TN: a mother-in-law, Mrs. Lil and a host of siblings, friends, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
